爆心地標柱
長崎市松山町１７１番地、原爆はこの標柱の真上約５００メートルで炸裂した。爆発点は、閃光によって壁などに焼きつけられた三方の影の仰角を計って割り出された。この標柱は戦後何回か建て直され、現在の三角柱は１９５５年の建立である。
The A-bomb exploded 500 meters
above this point at 171 Matsuyama-machi in Nagasaki city.
This hypocenter was calculated
and inferred according to the directions of the shadows the A-bomb heat
rays imprinted on walls and other structures.
The monolith wa rebuilt
several times,and the present one dates from 1955.
