On the occasion of building cenotaph of A-bomb victims to their post of duty

At 11:02 a.m. on August 9,1945people and houses in Nagasaki were burned by the heat rays of more than 3,000 degress Centigradeand by the blast of wind 500 meters per second.
The city turned into hell as blazes swirled here and there.
On that day many construction workers lost their lives while they were under governmental order,tearing down the houses which people evacuated, ro building torpedo boats at factories.
We can never forget the agony, the anger and the sadness.
We never will let any one do the same on any people of the world.
43 years since the A-bomb,now here "Tower of antiwar and peace"was builtto pray for the repose of the victims'souls and as a proof of our endeavor for peace and the total abolition of nuclear arms.
May their souls rest in peace.
